Job summary

Citi in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Cash & Trade Proc Int Assoc Analyst to support cash management initiatives within the Transaction Services team. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely processing, compliance with internal controls, and effective coordination with front office and issuers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in cash and trade operations, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure transactions processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls.
• Interact with the front office to ensure proper documentation received for new issue setup.
• Interact with Issuers to ensure proper documentation received for MTN issues.
• Process original issuances for Long Term Debt, MTNs, Structured Finance etc.
• Transfer Routine and Non-Routine Items.
• Retire securities presented for buy-backs, etc.
• Interact with brokers to ensure proper documentation received for exchanges/conversions.
• Conduct premise loss, mail, and lost security processing.
• Adhere to applicable SEC turnaround regulations for transfers and inquiries.
• Control presentations made over the window or through the mail.
• Print issued certificates, checks, tax forms, statements, etc.
• Perform MIS reporting.
• Assist in the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of all required issues as directed.
• Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions.
• Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects.
• Provide informal guidance or on the job training to new team members as required.
• Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed.
• Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors

The Cash & Trade Proc Int Assoc Analyst is an experienced level role responsible for assisting on any projects and initiatives related to cash management in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to ensure transactions are completed with accuracy and on time, while helping various internal roles related to cash management.
