The Delaware County Department of Human Services Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities has immediate openings for a Caseworker 2. We are seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team.

This full-time position focuses on locating, coordinating, and monitoring essential services to support participants in their daily lives, ensuring access to community resources and guidance for the participants' chosen pathways.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a County Caseworker 1 or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in social welfare or related.
• Up to 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice or related.
• Educational requirements may be met within two months of graduating.

Responsibilities

• Locate, coordinate, and monitor services for participants.
• Develop and maintain the Individual Support Plan with participants and providers.
• Monitor supports to ensure delivery per plan.
• Guide participants in choosing whether to direct their own services.
• Assist participants who elect to manage their own services.
