Job summary

Horizontal Wireline Services seeks a Cased Hole Field Engineer to lead field crews and ensure safe, high-quality wireline operations. You will oversee pre-job checks, equipment readiness, and dispatch support while promoting safety, policy compliance, and client service excellence.

The role requires expertise in perforation and logging services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to train and mentor junior staff on site. On-call duties and thorough reporting are expected.

Qualifications

• High School/GED, Undergraduate degree in Geology or Engineering preferred
• Must have at a minimum a class C w/Hazmat CDL license
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety manuals, operational instructions, and policies/procedures
• Must be able to take the lead in effectively communicating with peers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Possess a strong ability to solve problems in the practical field and interpret data presented in written, diagrammatic or schedule form
• Ability to apply advanced math skills to practical situations
• Ability to solve problems in practical field situations and interpret data presented in written, diagrammatic or schedule form

Responsibilities

• Manage field crews and ensure safe, compliant operations
• Oversee pre-job checks, equipment readiness, and load-outs
• Operate and monitor wireline services and logging operations
• Lead training and mentoring of field personnel
• Enforce company and client policies and safety procedures
• Prepare reports and ensure timely data submission
• Identify hazards and coordinate risk mitigation in field operations
• Maintain equipment and comply with regulatory requirements
