Job summary

America's Heartland Packing is seeking a Case Sealing Operator to operate and maintain case sealing machinery, ensuring products are securely sealed for distribution.

You will monitor the sealing process, perform routine maintenance, and follow quality and safety standards while working with PPE and adhering to shift procedures.

This role includes basic cleanup, area organization, and the ability to work at varied heights around moving equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must work in humid/cold/wet or slippery areas around moving equipment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Verify case sealers are on and working before production starts
• Mop water from the dry ice box in the morning
• Verify that big boxes go to the big case sealer
• Pull mini boxes off main conveyor to the small sealer conveyor
• Check the sealers glue pots through all day and add glue as needed
• Verify all boxes contain dry ice
• Cleanup work area at end of shift
• Note: may perform other related duties as needed to meet the organization's ongoing needs

• Mop water from the dry ice box in the morning
• Verify that big boxes go to the big case sealer

• Verify all boxes contain dry ice

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to work in a humid, cold, wet or slippery surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (P.P.E)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment
• Previous heavy machinery experience in manufacturing environment

Summary

America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.
