Job description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Receive and log out batches of pick tickets for customer orders. Use motorized equipment to pick products in case quantities from various pallet locations and heights, labeling products with pick tickets and shipping (UPS) tracking labels. Frequently pick large order quantities, such as entire skids, from pick racks at multiple levels. Verify product information on labels and tickets for accuracy. Transport products to conveyor or loading areas as needed.
  • Maintain daily individual production records, reviewed by the supervisor, documenting task completion times. Dispose of empty boxes and packaging to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

All positions are also responsible for:

  • Meeting company standards for quantity and quality of work, in compliance with all policies and procedures, including WorldWide Business Standards.
  • Adhering to workplace behavior policies when completing tasks and assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to pass machine driver safety training for required equipment. Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills. Strong communication skills. Detail-oriented and accountable for accuracy. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple tasks. Ability to differentiate products with similar characteristics.

Experience: Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.

Other: High school diploma or equivalent preferred or comparable work experience.

Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Physical demands:

Lift/move products up to 50 lb frequently; 51-75 lb occasionally. Walk on concrete floors frequently. Use gripping, pushing, pulling, and fine hand manipulation frequently. Twist or bend torso frequently. Climb ladder occasionally. Handle tools like tape guns, utility knives, and pallet jacks frequently.

Conditions:

Work in a temperature-controlled environment. Occasionally exposed to dust and cold conditions.
