Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Case Packer Operator in Twin Falls, Idaho to monitor the case packer, stacker, and conveyor systems, ensuring correct packing of cups into cases. Responsibilities include jam clearance, documentation, and preventive maintenance while upholding GMPs and safety standards.

The role requires basic math, good communications, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, with on-site work and opportunities for benefits and growth within a major food manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Must have 0–3 months in a production environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math skills and strong communication are essential.
• Basic computer skills and troubleshooting abilities are required.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures; capable of walking on wet floors.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, climb stairs, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor automatic packing of cups into cases in case packer, clear jams and restart machine as needed.
• Verify foil lids are properly sealed and on the correct cup; verify cup code every 4 minutes.
• Complete documentation accurately (downtime, cup code, verification sheets, work orders, start-up procedures, etc.).
• Refill glue pellets in pot.
• Identify and eliminate non-conforming product.
• Start, unjam and re-adjust case stacker, box closer, box drop, palletizer and conveyor.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all machines, including tightening belts, replacing sensors and air filters, oiling and greasing as needed.
• Remove empty boxes and reload into case packer.
• Manage pallet production paperwork and palletizer faults; handle materials and paperwork.
• Follow Chobani safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for some preventive maintenance on all machines, including taking up slack on belts, occasionally replacing sensors and air filters, oil and grease machines
• Remove empty boxes and reload into case packer
• Manage issues involving pallet production paperwork, palletizer faults, and issues, loading palletizer materials and paperwork breaks
• Other duties as assigned

The salary range for this full-time position is $22.25 - $28.75, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
