Overview:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families? We are seeking a motivated Case Manager to join our team. This role supports our BCBA team in providing high-quality care and offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth, including a pathway to obtaining your BCBA certification.

The Case Manager position is an interim role designed for individuals actively pursuing their BCBA certification. Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Case Management: Oversee and manage ABA service delivery, ensuring individualized treatment plans are effectively implemented and regularly updated.
  • Behavioral Assessments: Assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and evaluations, including initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the BCBA to create individualized ABA treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals.
  • Family Communication: Serve as a primary contact for families, providing updates on client progress, addressing concerns, and educating caregivers about ABA principles.
  • Coordination of Services: Collaborate with therapists, schools, and other providers to ensure consistent and integrated service delivery.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Monitor client progress through accurate data collection and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  • Supervision: Provide guidance and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals, ensuring ethical and clinical best practices.
  • Training: Facilitate initial and ongoing training for therapists, conduct regular 1:1 meetings, and contribute to special training projects.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Professional Development: Participate in company CEU events and stay informed about the latest ABA methodologies.
  • Case Consultation: Collaborate with the BCBA or Clinical Director in regular case review meetings.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred. Candidates actively enrolled in a master's program are required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1-2 years in ABA services, case management, or behavioral health.
    • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with ASD.
    • Supervisory experience with RBTs or paraprofessionals is preferred.
  • Certification: Actively pursuing BCBA certification with the ability to obtain it within 90 days of eligibility.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with ABA principles, evidence-based practices, and data collection tools/software systems.
