How you can make a bigger difference:
- Provide community psychiatric support and treatment (CPST) to children/youth and their families to achieve stability and functional improvement in daily living, personal recovery, and family relationships.
- Assist the child/youth and their family in identifying strategies or treatment options to minimize the negative effects of symptoms, emotional disturbances, substance use, or environmental stressors.
- Support restoration, rehabilitation, and minimize the negative effects of behavioral health symptoms or emotional disturbances that interfere with the child/youth’s daily living.
- Perform services in the youth’s home, community, office, or via telehealth.
- Participate in clinical treatment team meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision.
- Maintain documentation according to standards and time frames established by the Jewish Board and relevant agencies.
- Uphold professional behaviors and ethical standards as established by licensing boards and the Jewish Board policies.
- Travel and navigate the community to provide services effectively.
- Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary therapeutic team.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of applicable experience in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care/child welfare/juvenile justice.
- Prior experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
