Job summary

VOALA is hiring a Case Manager Specialist I to provide intensive case management for eligible clients, meeting participants weekly and coordinating services. You will be the primary contact for a caseload, linking clients to housing, health, and social resources.

This on-site role requires driving to client visits, assessing needs, and documenting progress. A California driver’s license and a related degree are required; fingerprint clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year general experience in case management or similar social services.
• Valid California Driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home visits.
• Ability to pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conducts screenings and assessments to collect client information for a case plan.
• Provide service linkages and support systems to meet identified needs.
• Care Coordination and case management of an assigned caseload.
• Advocate for clients before agencies and community services.

Education

Associate’s Degree in Social Work or related field

Case Management training completion within 6 months
