An established nonprofit organization dedicated to youth development is seeking a compassionate Case Manager to support homeless and unstably housed youth. This role involves providing essential case management services, including crisis counseling, housing placement, and educational support. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and experience working with urban youth, particularly in LGBTQ populations. Our mission is to empower young adults to reach their full potential by providing comprehensive youth development services in a diverse and caring environment. At The Door, youth can access health care and education, mental health counseling and crisis assistance, legal assistance, college preparation services, career development, housing supports, arts, sports and recreational activities, and nutritious meals – all for free and under one roof. By providing participants with our suite of integrated services, we seek to provide any motivated young person with the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to successfully transition to adulthood.
The Case Manager will support the Runaway and Homeless Youth program by providing case management to homeless and unstably housed youth to ensure that their basic needs—including crisis counseling, housing placement, entitlements procurement, health care, mental health care, education, job/career assistance, recreational opportunities, and other service needs—are met.
Full-time, Wednesday - Sunday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 35 hours/week
$46,000 - $48,000, plus generous paid time off and 1199 Union Benefits
