Job summary

Central Plains Center in Plainview, TX is seeking a Case Manager / QMHP (#0078) to deliver curriculum-based skills training and service coordination for children and families identified for services. A bachelor's degree in social, behavior or human services is required, and QMHP eligibility must be met; valid TX driver’s license is needed.

This full-time role includes on-call crisis rotation. You will maintain services, ensure proper Medicaid billing, advocate for individuals served, and

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor's degree in social, behavior or human services field from an accredited university.
• Must be able to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
• 1 year of experience with children/families having behavioral or emotional problems preferred.
• Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Provides curriculum based skills training and service coordination for children/adolescents eligible for services.
• Develop and maintain curriculum for skills training services.
• Provide service coordination, linking to other services and advocating for individuals served.
• Provide crisis intervention services and participate in on-call crisis rotation.

• Ensure proper billing practices are adhered to in regards to direct reimbursable services and Medicaid administration claiming
• Maintains regular contact with individuals served to monitor services and identify needs
• Will provide crisis intervention services to individuals with mental illness
• Will be part of the on-call crisis rotation
