Job summary

The Archdiocese of Chicago is seeking a Case Manager for the Prayer and Penance Program to supervise withdrawn priests and coordinate care to prevent sexual abuse and protect the community within a Catholic mission framework.

The primary purpose is to prevent sexual abuse and protect the community, with responsibilities including risk assessment, communication with therapists and sponsors, and maintaining program protocols.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Licensed through State Licensing Board of Illinois.
• 2–5 years' experience working with child sexual abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems of support for program participants.
• Verify the accuracy of daily logs and travel requests.
• Establish ongoing communication with therapists, sponsors, and members of the participants’ community support network.
• Maintain ongoing, personal communication with the program participants to continually assess risk.
• Develop and oversee the maintenance of Individual Specific Protocols.
• Oversee clinical services for participants.
• Document the compliance and non-compliance of program participants.
• Provide information regarding the program participants to leaders within the Archdiocese on an as needed basis.
