Job summary

Finch Legal in New York seeks a Case Manager to move pre-litigation cases efficiently by handling openings, medical records, police reports, and lien issues. You will support attorneys with complete information. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, be process-driven, and communicate clearly with clients and partners.

This Role

Case Managers ensure cases move forward quickly and comprehensively. You’ll focus on the operational heart of pre-litigation—opening claims, managing medical record requests, securing police reports, and resolving lien issues—so attorneys can work with complete, timely information.

What You'll Do:

• Open insurance claims and manage communication with carriers

• Request, track, and follow up on medical records and police reports

• Monitor lien and subrogation issues, ensuring timely resolution

• Partner with lead paralegals to prepare cases for demand drafting

• Identify and fix operational bottleneck.

Legal Operations is responsible for delivering exceptional outcomes for our law firm partners and their injured clients with precision, speed & care. You Might Be a Fit if You:

• Have 2+ years in personal injury (PI) law, legal operations, case management, or claims handling

• Are process-driven and detail-oriented

• Communicate effectively with both clients and attorneys

• Are bilingual in Portuguese/English (required)

Compensation

$60,000 – $85,000 annual salary + equity
