Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is one of New Jersey’s largest non‑profit social service agencies with programs and facilities serving Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Case Manager for our LIHEAP/USF Outreach program in Newark, NJ.

Job Duties:

• Develops relationships with local social services and public benefit agencies, shelters and faith‑based and community‑based organizations serving low‑income, at‑risk and homeless families
• Participates in conferences, workshops, special projects, and staff meetings
• Helps individuals and families to apply and obtain LIHEAP/USF benefits
• Provides outreach sessions, visits buildings, agencies and other locations where clients can be helped
• Manages time and works independently

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 year of related social service experience
• Valid NJ driver’s license

Benefits:

CCAN offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package for employees, with an 80/20 cost split between employers (80) and employees (20). Potential eligibility for federal student loan forgiveness.

Salary: $49,000
