Job Details

  • Reports To: Case Worker Supervisor
  • Salary: $35.42/hour
  • Location: Remote FL, GA, TN
  • Type: Full-Time Non-Exempt
  • Schedule: Five days/week, 40 hours/week
General Description

The PRS Case Manager (Level II) should have experience in trauma-informed care, child welfare practices, and case management. Must be skilled in writing professional assessments, familiar with local social services, community outreach, and working with diverse populations. Knowledge of family preservation, kinship care, and experience connecting with local resource providers for post-release services for children and their sponsors are essential.

You are empathetic, a good communicator, adaptable, and able to work under pressure. You can assess needs, handle confidential information, and work collaboratively with diverse populations. You are personable, energetic, and capable of managing multiple projects effectively.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or related degree; at least 1 year of case management experience.
  • Skilled in assessment report writing; experience with immigrant populations and trauma-informed interventions for youth.
  • Knowledge of family preservation, kinship care, trauma-informed practices, child welfare policies, and relevant laws.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data systems.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for in-person visits.
Responsibilities
  • Manage caseload of post-release services, including home studies and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with care providers and verify sponsor information.
  • Evaluate sponsor capacity and assess support needs.
  • Conduct home visits and utilize trauma-focused approaches.
  • Maintain documentation and safeguard confidential records.
  • Report concerns and participate in training and quality initiatives.
  • Travel as needed for in-person visits; may include evenings and weekends.
