Alliant Insurance is hiring a Case Manager II for our acquisition, ASA Group, based in Little Rock, Arkansas!

The ASA Group is a brokerage general agency serving insurance and financial planning professionals across the country. It offers life, long-term care, disability insurance, and fixed annuity products, acting as a one-stop shop for financial professionals, licensed advisors, financial planners, and registered investment advisers.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Remote position
  • Monday - Friday

The Case Manager II will be responsible for maintaining primary ownership of annuity, life, long-term care, and senior health cases. This involves frequent communication and coordination with agents, insurance carriers, and internal resources. The role includes reviewing and evaluating documents and data to identify and resolve issues, setting appropriate expectations with agents, and providing a World Class Customer Service experience throughout the process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Case Management Functions: Receive and review new insurance applications for missing information, order and review underwriting requirements, conduct follow-ups via phone and email, organize workload to ensure timely processing, and maintain records of work activity and communication.
  • Agent Support Functions: Act as a conduit for case issues, coordinate with internal departments, review issued policies for accuracy, and follow up on delivery requirements to ensure policies are placed within the specified timeframe.
  • Special Projects: Collaborate with staff on internal and external committees, and assist with special projects as requested by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, preferred.

Three (3) or more years of Underwriting and/or related Life and Annuity Insurance experience, required.
