Job summary

Comprehensive Life Resources seeks a Housing/Harms Reduction specialist to provide case management and behavioral health support for FHARPS consumers. The role involves out-of-office work at least 50% of the time, assisting clients with housing stability and access to services.

You will coordinate with teams, attend meetings, and ensure ethical practice while maintaining client confidentiality. Driving required with a valid license and vehicle.

Qualifications

  • AA degree in human services or BA required.
  • WA State credential or ability to become credentialed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide case management and behavioral health support to clients.
  • Assist clients with paperwork, self-care, advocacy, and resource acquisition.
  • Use Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-based practices.
  • Coordinate cases within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Deliver psychoeducation to clients and supports.

All benefits contingent on working a scheduled 40hrs a week.ScopeProvide support and care coordination for Forensic HARPS consumers in diverting from the court system using housing first and harm reduction models. This is an outreach position with the expectation of being out of the office a minimum of 50% of the time. FHARPs Housing Specialists support clients with housing instabilities find, secure, and maintain adequate housing solutions. This position may need to provide life skills, transportation, and other services in various environments and locations within the community. This position requires driving and transporting as needed based on program needs.Attend Trueblood meetings as required. Transport clients as needed based on program needs. Share in the rotation of the off-hours / on-call phone regarding housing support for potentially displaced clients (compensation provided).ResponsibilitiesProvide both case management and behavioral health support services, including, but not limited to assisting clients with paperwork, self-care, advocacy, and resource acquisition.Be trained and use Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-based practicesProvide psychoeducation to clients and their natural supports about behavioral health conditions, treatments and navigating systems.Provide case coordination, working within a multi-disciplinary team environment.Facilitate psychoeducation and skills groups as defined by program needs.Connect clients with internal and external supports and services.Attend/facilitate treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and designated staff training and consultation sessions as assigned.Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained by following all CLR policies and seeking regular consultation.Actively participate in clinical supervision and training for continued professional growth.Competencies:Willingness to understand and respect diverse backgrounds and a commitment to culturally competent practice.Demonstrates ethical decision-making skills and appropriate boundaries.Promote whole health care as a key to people’s recovery and quality of life.Open to feedback, is accountable, and contributes to a positive work environment.Develops and maintains a self-care plan, including seeking supervision when needed.Ability to complete paperwork within required timeframes, meeting content requirements.Able to meet weekly client service provisions (hours of service).Ability to seek out and learn about available community supports and resources for assigned clients.AA degree in a human services field with two years relevant experience or BA required.WA State credential or ability to become credentialedIf this role requires driving, must have valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and working vehicle.Proficiency in common Microsoft applicationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentialityComprehensive Life Resources is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
