The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office is accepting applications for the position of Case Manager – Diversion/Re-entry.
We are a fast-paced office dedicated to a culture of excellence, seeking an experienced case manager interested in areas of prosecution, with a focus on a rehabilitative perspective.
This is an excellent opportunity for a case manager with some experience who is interested in working with participants in a legal environment to support non-traditional outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field from an accredited university
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in case management preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Duties
- Responsible for handling all aspects of case management
- Attend court to inform potential participants about program details/requirements
- Perform needs assessment for individualized case plan development for all new participants
- Revise case plans as needed for participant progress
- Frequent contact consistent with program requirements with all participants to ensure program progress
- Refer participants to appropriate services based on participants' individualized needs
- Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity and quality of care for participants
- Resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
- Assist clients with psychoeducational and life skills
- Provide progress reports to the Prosecutor and the Court
- Use of motivational interviewing techniques and a trauma-informed approach in all case management functions
- Practice cultural competence in case handling with awareness and respect for diversity
- Document all participant interactions and progress by tracking and maintaining timely participant notes
- Maintain confidentiality of participants' information
- Skillful management of the case load
- Participate as a team member in fostering innovative programming
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range - $50,000 - $60,000 annually
