A leading organization in behavioral health is seeking a School Based Counselor or Case Manager in Mississippi. The role involves providing essential mental health services to students, collaborating with families, and advocating for client needs. Candidates should have a strong educational background in counseling or related fields and prior experience in mental health assistance. The position offers up to 8 weeks of paid time off during the summer and supervision toward licensure advancement.

Programmatic expansion is providing us the opportunity to add the position of School Based Counselor or Case Manager. Based in a school in Lake county, the Case Manager/ Counselor works independently to develop relationships with clients, families, school officials and other interested parties with meeting the students’ mental and behavioral health needs. This role will provide assessments, individual, group and family therapy as needed while also acting as a strong advocate for clients and consultant with our school partners. An interdisciplinary approach offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues. Additionally, this position is eligible for up to 8 weeks off paid during the summer. Supervision toward licensure advancement is provided by the organization.
