Program Summary

Sierra Center Work Release is a residential work release program that provides individualized treatment services, job preparation, and substance use education to adults under the supervision of DOC. These services aim to assist with successful re-entry into the community while preventing new offenses.

Position Details
  • Position: Case Manager 1
  • Location: New Haven
  • Salary: $18.50/hour
  • Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 1st shift (Saturday-Tuesday, 7am-3pm), 2nd shift (Friday, 3pm-11pm)
Responsibilities

The Case Manager 1 provides staff support and direct client care, including intake assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and liaising with treatment providers and community resources. The role supports rehabilitation and community reintegration for clients under supervision.

Requirements
  • Some post-secondary education
  • At least 2 years of experience in direct service and case management
  • Valid Connecticut driver’s license
  • Regular and predictable attendance
