Job summary

Acrisure Trade Credit is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to oversee life, disability, LTC and annuity policy cases from intake through underwriting negotiations and policy delivery. You will collaborate with underwriters, advisers, and clients, documenting commissions and driving timely resolutions while balancing multiple priorities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Summary:

This position provides an opportunity to build a career within an exciting market of the insurance industry. This candidate will be integral to the overall management of our insurance policies, from pending case management and policy delivery to underwriting negotiations of life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care and annuities. The position demands a high level of resourcefulness, effective communication, negotiation skills, and adaptability. Case Managers require critical thinking and problem-solving to drive results and meet the goals of the Case Management team and the overall organization.

Essential Functions:

• Monitor and manage the progress of pending Life, Disability, Long-Term Care and Annuity cases, ensuring timely processing and resolution
• Collaborate with underwriters, advisors, and clients to gather required information and facilitate communication. Knowledge of carrier practices, policy contracts and provisions. Must be familiar with new business processes and various state requirements
• Oversee the delivery of policies to clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Lead negotiations with underwriters on behalf of advisors and clients to secure favorable terms
• Manage the reconsideration process for cases that require future negotiation due to initial underwriting decisions
• Understand and document commissions on a per case basis in the company agency management system

Successful Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required
• Strong growth and business development orientation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Strong technical aptitude – ability to utilize and leverage technology and systems
• Strong organization skills/ability to manage multiple demands and priorities
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position may require additional hours to meet goals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 3-7 years of related industry experience.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
