Job summary

Child & Family Service in Lihue, Hawaii seeks a Part Time Specialist I to provide case management for families at risk. The role includes intake, assessments, and coordinating services, with required documentation in CPSS/SHKA systems. A Four-Year College Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is required.

Evenings and weekends may be required. Valid Hawaii driver’s license and reliable transport are needed.

Qualifications

• Four-Year College Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency in social work, psychology or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management services to families referred by Child Welfare Services at moderate to high risk of child abuse and neglect.
• Develops and maintains Individualized Program Plans and Family Partnership Plans with participants/family.
• Completes intake, assessments, monitors referrals, and coordinates services; maintains documentation per CWS procedures.
