Main Purpose of Job

This position will serve as the data lead within the Integrated Maternal Health Services (IMHS) pilot program, responsible for fulfilling specific grant requirements, managing reporting measures, and supporting service coordination. As the data lead, this individual will work closely with the Administrative Care Coordination Unit (ACCU) team to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting in alignment with program goals and funding requirements.

Additionally, the position will support the Maryland Community Health Resource Commission (CHRC) grant by facilitating and evidence-based Well Baby Coaching curriculum for waitlisted families referred to the Healthy Families Program. This curriculum is designed to reduce reliance on emergency services by equipping parents with the education and tools needed to understand the importance of well-child visits, immunizations, and other preventive care.

Overall, the role includes completing agreed-upon tasks to meet clients' identified needs, ensuring the maximum utilization of available services and resources, and coordinating the care and services necessary to support the client's long-term health and social needs. Responsibilities also include completing assigned tasks that promote client well-being and effective service delivery across programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.

Experience: One year of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.

Notes

  • Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.

SELECTION PROCESS

Applicants who meet the minimum (and selective) qualifications will be included in further evaluation. The evaluation may be a rating of your application based on your education, training and experience as they relate to the requirements of the position. Clearly indicate your college degree and major on your application, if applicable. As a contractual employee, you will be responsible for paying 25% of the premiums for your medical and prescription coverage, including any eligible dependents you have enrolled. The State of Maryland will subsidize the remaining 75% of the cost for these benefits. You can also elect to enroll in dental coverage, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and life insurance, but will be responsible to pay the full premium for these benefits.
