Job summary

Model Dairy LLC in Roseburg, Oregon is seeking a reliable dock/warehouse worker to handle case dock operations, load/unload cases, and maintain cleanliness. You will use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and hooks, and operate chemical wash systems as needed; shift is outdoors and may require standing for long periods.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, be able to lift 50 lbs, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads cases from pallets, trays, racks, and chains.
• Maintains cases on production line to sustain production.
• Stacks or assembles materials onto pallet and shrink-wraps stacks to secure materials.
• Lifts objects by hand, with metal hook, or with pallet jack.
• Operates pallet jack in loading or moving materials.
• Keeps work area clean and free of debris, broken products, and any other hazards.
• Use chemicals to clean/sanitize work area, trailers, bossy carts, and work environment.
• Make sure all chemical wash systems are kept supplied with chemicals in the work area.
• Occasional ground keeping may be required.
• Record keeping is required.

Job description

This position requires working on the case dock handling cases and cleaning/sanitizing trailers and bossy carts. Use of hand trucks, metal dairy hooks, pallet jacks, and chemicals is expected. Lifting up to 100 lbs. and some paperwork is required. Shift is normally spent in an outside environment.

Pay Range: $20.21 - $22.46

Essential Functions:

• Loads and unloads cases from pallets, trays, racks, and chains.
