We are seeking a Case Aide (Human Service Assistant 2) to join our Aging and People with Disabilities team in the North Bend office helping individuals and families in person. The majority of your work will be performed in person at the ODHS office in North Bend, with regular travel to clients' homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and other community provider locations. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Occasional compensated overtime may be required to meet business needs. Local travel is required. You may drive state vehicles to a variety of locations, including rural areas, in varying weather and road conditions. You will interact with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including those who have experienced trauma and may be experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. You will work in a variety of home and community environments that may include unsanitary conditions, environmental hazards, animals, or exposure to contagious illnesses.
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required for this position. If selected as a finalist, we will conduct a criminal history and background check.
