The Technical Studies Adjunct Instructor is a part-time position. The instructor will engage students with classroom and lab instruction using the NCCER curriculum. Lab activities must be per curriculum requirements, but most importantly, hands-on activities need to prepare students for a career in the HVAC field. This position will require in-person work at an off-campus instructional site in Altavista, VA. Instructors must maintain communication with students.
Minimum of four years of field experience and journeyman HVAC license. Resume must demonstrate experience with residential and commercial work. Industry-recognized licenses or certifications required. Preferably a college degree.
