Liberty University seeks a part-time Technical Studies Adjunct Instructor who will engage students through classroom and lab instruction focused on the HVAC field. The Technical Studies Adjunct Instructor is a part-time position responsible for engaging students with classroom and lab instruction using the NCCER curriculum. The lab activities must meet curriculum requirements and prepare students for careers in the HVAC field. This position requires in-person work at an off-campus site in Altavista, VA, with ongoing communication with students.
Supervising lab assistants, where applicable.
Minimum of four years of field experience with a journeyman's HVAC license, including residential and commercial work. Industry-recognized licenses or certifications are required. A college degree is preferred.
Work may involve uncontrolled climates, loud environments, and hazardous conditions similar to fieldwork.
