Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center Hosts "Dogsgiving" Event

Casa Grande, AZ — The Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center is thrilled to announce “Dogsgiving,” a special adoption event on Saturday, November 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 202 E. First Avenue. This heartfelt event aims to clear the shelter and find loving homes for dogs just in time for the holidays, thanks to an exciting partnership with Best Friends Animal Society.

“All adoption fees are sponsored by Best Friends Animal Society during the event”, said Cerise Shanafelt, Animal Control Supervisor. “This partnership allows families to bring home a new furry friend with little upfront cost.”

In place of adoption fees, visitors are encouraged to bring donations to support the pets who remain in the shelter. Needed items include toys, canned food, kibble, peanut butter, treats, cleaning supplies, and blankets. Those interested in additional ways to give can view the shelter’s Amazon Wish List .

Special Event Highlights:

AZ Vet Vaccine Clinic: AZ Vet will host a low-cost vaccine clinic on-site from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., providing vaccines for pets on a first-come, first-served basis, with no appointment needed.

Pawfect Grooming Services: Pawfect Grooming will offer free nail trims and a complimentary bath or grooming service for every adoption to ensure each new pet looks and feels their best.

Free Microchips: Microchips will be available at no charge, helping keep pets safe and reunited with their families if they ever go missing.
