Job summary

Circle K is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on car wash equipment and facility systems across an assigned district. The role requires travel using a company vehicle and occasional on-call responsibilities.

Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED are required; technical training is preferred. Experience with tunnel car wash equipment is strongly preferred.

• Install, maintain, and replace conveyors, pumps, motors, blowers, dryers, water treatment equipment, and related components.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and emergency service calls.
• Travel throughout an assigned district using a company vehicle; participate in on-call rotations.

Job Summary: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the Holiday corporate carwashes within a designated area as determined by supervisor. Additional store repairs or assistance may be requested occasionally. Must be available to work 6am - 6pm.

Job Description Summary

Performs preventative maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on car wash equipment and facility systems within an assigned territory. Maintains operational uptime through safe, efficient service of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, water treatment, and chemical delivery system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:

Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on car wash equipment and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and chemical delivery systems.

• Install, maintain, and replace conveyors, pumps, motors, blowers, dryers, water treatment equipment, and related components.

• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and emergency service calls.

District Management

• Travel throughout an assigned district using a company vehicle.

• Prioritize preventative maintenance and service requests to minimize downtime.

• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Safety & Administration

• Follow OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.

• Document work performed, labor, and parts used through the work order system.

• Communicate repair status with supervisors, site personnel, vendors, and support teams.

• Participate in on-call rotations and other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.

• Three (3) years of maintenance experience required.

• Experience with industrial, commercial, manufacturing, or service equipment preferred.

• Experience with tunnel car wash equipment strongly preferred.

Licenses & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

• Ability to pass required background, drug, and motor vehicle screenings.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including emergency call-outs.

• Job requirements:

• Must be able to travel out of state for a 1-week training

• Must occasionally be able to travel overnight, extended hours and outside of designated area

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, water treatment, and chemical systems.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Basic computer proficiency for work order management.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Lift up to 100 pounds.

• Climb ladders and work at heights.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend,, stoop, lift, and reach.

• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Regular exposure to water, chemicals, moving machinery, and moderate noise.

Compensation: $25-30/hr
