Job summary

Sun Hydraulics in Sarasota, FL is seeking a CVT Assembler to assemble high-performance cartridge valves following documented procedures to meet engineering specifications. The role emphasizes attention to detail and accurate reading of drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly on cartridge valves working with very small parts.
• Performing repetitive assembly tasks on order quantities from 50-200+
• Ensuring process procedures are followed to maintain high quality of production while meeting work area quotas
• Developing knowledge of Sun product lines while learning to read blueprints and schematics
• Housekeeping of assembly area such as sweeping and vacuuming area before the next shift
• Communicating progress of incomplete work orders and issues to next shift
