Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to gain exposure to retail tasks across store operations. You will assist customers, handle carts, and help with store cleanliness and safety in busy areas of the store.

The role involves coordinating with service desk and various departments to ensure a smooth shopping experience, while maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient store environment for guests and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift and handle objects in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Performs basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Works with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
