Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, including customer service, stocking, and store maintenance. You will interact with customers to deliver above-and-beyond service while supporting multiple departments and store operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and strong communication with customers.
• Ability to stay organized and attentive to details in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to lift and move items and operate basic store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment when needed.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Assist with basic store cleaning and servicing desks, entrances and lanes.
• Collaborate with departments across Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
