Meijer, Inc. in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a cart attendant to help keep the store and parking lot organized and safe. You will ferry shopping carts from outside to the store interior and assist with trash collection and basic cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Move carts from outside to store interior and back as needed.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment and remove snow where required.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Support multiple departments as needed.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
