Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level Courtesy Team Members to support store operations, assist customers, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment. This role provides exposure to a variety of retail tasks across services, product areas, and customer service.

Responsibilities include cart retrieval, parking lot and store area cleaning, trash collection, snow removal when needed, and collaboration with service desks and departments.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across the store.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.

• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
