Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Canton, Ohio is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across services, product and customer service. You will help ferry carts, manage parking lot and trash, and support multiple departments while delivering above-and-beyond customer service.

The role emphasizes organization, communication and physical stamina to perform lifting and moving tasks in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn and inside store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Manage perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Coordinate with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal & Floral.
