Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member in Griffith, IN to support store operations and customer experience. You will perform a variety of retail tasks across departments, assist customers, and maintain cleanliness and organization.

This role offers exposure to multiple store services, daily interactions with customers, and opportunities for development within a family-oriented company. You will join a team focused on above-and-beyond service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist as required.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver carts from outside to store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Engage with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.
