Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store services, product handling, and customer service. You will support store operations, assist customers, and contribute to a clean, organized shopping environment.

As part of a large regional retailer with a long history, you will learn about store processes and teamwork while developing skills in a fast-paced setting. This role emphasizes reliability and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
