Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a range of retail tasks including store operations, customer service, and product handling. You will engage with customers and colleagues while learning the flow of store services and daily procedures.

The role focuses on building experience across departments and delivering above-and-beyond customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move items and operate basic store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment when applicable.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Assist with store cleanliness and general duties with service desk, entrance, lanes, and parking areas.
