Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to support a variety of retail tasks across our store, product handling and customer service. Meijer Courtesy Team Members enjoy interacting with people and providing above-and-beyond service.

As part of the role, you will assist with cart retrieval, store cleanliness, service desk support and collaboration with multiple departments. The position offers weekly pay and scheduling flexibility, with opportunities for advancement within our growing family

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
• Able to lift and move items and operate equipment as needed.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
