Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Team Member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, from customer service to store operations. You will interact with customers, learn store processes, and contribute to a friendly shopping environment.

Team members help with cart handling, cleaning, and coordinating with service desks and departments across the store. Flexible scheduling and ongoing development opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and bend to handle products.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside.
• Coordinate and collect of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment when needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Coordinate with departments across Health & Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
