Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a friendly Cart Attendant to provide an efficient customer experience and keep shopping carts, flatbeds, and baskets available for customers throughout the store.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in using carts safely, maintaining parking lot cleanliness, and supporting back-up cashiering and other store needs. Must be able to work flexible hours and adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer experience while assisting shoppers.
• Keep carts, flatbed carts and baskets available for customers.
• Maintain clean parking lot and campus grounds; address debris and safety hazards.
• Assist with back-up cashiering and carry outs as needed.
• Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked during operating hours.
• Support maintaining supplies for cash registers and restrooms.
• Keep check lanes clear of returned products, hangers and trash.
• Address safety concerns including trip hazards and icy spots promptly.
• Report missing signage or displays to the Manager on Duty.
