Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to perform varied retail tasks across store operations, from cart attendants to service desk support. You’ll gain exposure to multiple departments and learn operations while delivering friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen eye for details.
• Great listening and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
