Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level team member to support operations and customer service in a busy retail environment. Flexible scheduling includes weekends, with availability between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. You will gain exposure to various tasks across departments and learn what true customer service means.

You will perform cart duties, maintenance, basic cleaning, and collaborate with multiple store areas to ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Entry-level team member, weekend availability preferred.
• Ability to work between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. is preferred.
• Exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store departments.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• This job profile may include other duties as assigned or required.
