DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

Cart Attendant’s work directly with the customer to enhance their shopping experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure that each customer receives exceptional service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting every customer, handling all customer concerns with patience and professionalism, and have a solid understanding of the products that are carried.
• Retrieve carts from the parking lot either by hand or using our powered cart pusher to ensure a constant availability for our customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of carts.
• Identify carts in need of repair.
• Ensure parking lot is clean and free of litter.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and handle merchandise up to 50lbs.
• Ability to tolerate heat and cold to collect carts.
• Ability to work varied hours to include nights, Saturday’s and holidays as needed.

Skills:

• Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in both verbal and written format.
• Ability to operate all equipment required to perform the essential functions of the job.
