Meijer is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support store operations and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.

You'll gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, from cart retrieval to basic store cleanliness, with weekly pay and opportunities for development and education assistance. This role emphasizes teamwork and customer service excellence.

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.

• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move shopping carts from outside back into the store.
• Manage parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash collection.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment in season.
• Handle returns of perishables and salvage items.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning duties.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrances, check lanes and parking areas.
• Assist in multiple departments across Health & Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal & Floral.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
