Job summary

Kinston Country Club in Kinston, NC, is seeking a part-time Cart Attendant to contribute to a positive member and guest experience while supporting golf club operations.

Reporting to the Head Golf Pro, you will manage the golf cart fleet, assist with tournament prep, and uphold course policies. Equipment care, cart barn upkeep, and customer service are essential skills for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer/guest orientation.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be dependable and friendly with the public.
• Working knowledge of golf rules is preferred.
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies and regulations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional appearance.
• Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns them in the evening.
• Cleans, waters, checks carts after each use and restocks as required.
• Cleans and maintains cart barn.
• Ensures carts are available for players at all times.
• Receives and communicates complaints to the Golf Shop.
• Assists golf shop staff with tournaments.
• Implements and supports course policies and programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Kinston Country Club, located in Kinston, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Cart Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$10.00 per hour

Summary:

As a key member of the property’s golf operations team, the Cart Attendant reports directly to the Head Golf Pro and attends to the golf cart fleet as well as other duties as directed.

• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations

Position Responsibilities:

Maintains professional appearance

Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day

Cleans, waters, checks carts after each use and restocks as required

Cleans and maintains cart barn

Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times

Receives and communicates complains to the Golf Shop

Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments

Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
