Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members to support store operations, customer service and basic retail tasks. You will engage with customers and work across departments to ensure a clean, organized shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cart pickup and returning carts from outside to inside the store.
• Help coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and interior trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal as needed.
• Process perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, entrance, lanes and parking areas.
• Support multiple departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardware, Apparel, Pets, and Seasonal areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
