Job summary

Meijer in Escanaba, MI is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support daily store operations and customer service across departments. You will gain exposure to retail tasks and learn our standards for above-and-beyond service while enjoying benefits such as weekly pay and education assistance.

You will help cart attendants, assist with cleaning, stocking, and basic store tasks, working with service desks and various departments.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport carts from outside the store back to the interior.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service.
