Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store operations.

You will support services, interact with customers, and help keep the store clean and safe. Responsibilities include cart retrieval, trash collection in parking lot and store, snow removal, returns processing, and collaboration with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, and Fashion.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist with product or equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and interior trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment.
• Handle perishables and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Assist at service desk, entrance, lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across store.
• Other duties as assigned.
