Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to assist in a variety of retail tasks across store operations.

You will gain exposure to departments including Customer Service, Storefront, and Amenities while delivering above-and-beyond service to customers. Ideal candidates are highly organized with keen attention to detail, possess strong listening and communication skills, and can handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving items in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect litter from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for clearing snow.
• Assist with perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot teams.
